Support & Inquiry Types

We are dedicated to providing the best browser-based ID3 tagging experience. To help us process your requests quickly, please review the categories below before sending an email:

  • Technical Support & Bug Reports: If a specific MP3 file fails to load, metadata tags do not save correctly, or the album art doesn't update, please let us know.
  • Feature Proposals: Want to see additional metadata fields (like Lyricist, Conductor, or Publisher) or support for other file formats? We value your input.
  • Business Partnerships: For sponsorship offers, collaborative development ideas, API integrations, or media inquiries, contact us directly.
  • Privacy & GDPR Queries: If you have questions about how our client-side storage operates or how we keep your files secure within your browser.

Guidelines for Bug Reports

Since MP3 Tag Editor Pro runs entirely in your local browser window to protect your privacy, any bugs you encounter are often related to browser compatibility or specific file structures. To help us fix the issue, please include the following details in your email:

  • Your browser name and version (e.g., Google Chrome v120, Safari v17).
  • Your operating system (e.g., Windows 11, macOS Sonoma, iOS, Android).
  • A brief description of what happened (e.g., "The browser froze during ZIP file export" or "The album art became blurry").
  • The size and origin of the MP3 file you were editing (if possible).

Contact & Support FAQ

Can I request phone support?

No, we do not offer phone support. As a small team focused on software development, all support tickets are handled asynchronously through email. This allows us to investigate file-specific issues more thoroughly.

Can you recover my deleted or un-downloaded files?

No. Because our editor runs entirely client-side, your files are never uploaded to our servers. If you close your browser tab or reload the editor before downloading your updated files, your progress is permanently deleted from your local memory. We have no way to restore your audio files.

How do I report security vulnerabilities?

If you discover a security vulnerability in our application, please email us directly with the subject line "SECURITY VULNERABILITY". We take security seriously and will investigate and patch verified issues immediately.
